Vintage china storage box for Wedgwood china and Jasperware pieces, crafted by the S.K. Smith Company of Chicago, Cleveland and New York in the Wedgwood blue color with white relief to simulate Jasperware.

The S.K. Smith Company crafted these fine art leather embossed storage cases for the fine china, Wedgwood and other items they retailed in their luxury stores. They were also known for their fine embossed leather goods such as book covers and calendars.
The box and tray are in very good condition, with only slight age-related blemishes noted in the photos above. There are no objectionable odors, and the storage box and tray and quite clean and without stains.
This Wedgwood Jasperware storage box features a lift-out tray with handles and removable corrugated cardboard cup or Jasperware dividers. The tray itself measures 15.75" x 10" x 3.25" and is wrapped in Wedgwood blue colored embossed leatherette.
The main storage box measures 16.5" x 10.5" x 7" high and is designed with an interior ledge to hold the tray. This Wedgwood storage box itself weighs 4 pounds, 3 ounces. Stamped on the bottom with the S.K. Smith Co. logo and P2431.
