Rare perfume atomizer by Derby Silver Co. in quadruple silverplate, with deep engraving encased within bands of scrolls, and monogrammed on one side with the initials "B. M. B.".
The delicate engraving is deep and extends all around the boyd of the atomizer except in the one small area where the monogram is located.
Near mint condiiton, with no silverplate wear or loss noted on the body of the perfume atomizer, and only a small amount of wear noted on the top. This is a large silver perfume atomizer at 6.5" tall - probably for a Victorian woman's vanity. No dents, dings or other damage noted.
This antique silver plate perfume atomizer measures 6.5" hall, 3" in diameter and weighs 11.1 ounces empty. No lingering odor, therefore, we assume that it was never used. This Victorian perfume atomizer is touchmarked on the base with DERBY SILVER CO., the Derby Silver logo of an anchor and crown, QUADRUPLE PLATE, and the pattern number "1004".
