Elegant pressed glass candy dish with Fleur-de-Lis, scalloped rim, flowers, diamond cuts and circles.
This little dish has it all, from decorative trim, fleur-de-lis, scalloped sawtooth edge, tiny circles, diamond lattice, stars, flowers, starbursts and leafy fronds. This candy dish or bonbon dish measures 5-3/4" in diameter, is 1/2" high and weighs 2.9 ounces.
A very slight surface scratch is noted on the center, but this may in fact be a manufacturing flaw. No chips, cracks or other damage noted. Just an exceptional piece of elegant pressed glass, with endless uses. So pretty, it's like a piece of fine English lace. Marked "Malaysia".
Every once in a while, we find something in an estate which we find exceptionally pretty, but not necessarily valuable. This is one of those items.
