Pretty antique quadruple silver plate holloware creamer pitcher by Peerless Silver with the original satin silverplate finish. Very desirable silver-gray color patina (not tarnished) with bright cut floral design on both sides and a semi-lobed creamer pitcher body.
One crease on the back side measuring 1/2" long and a tiny dimple near the base. Other than those two blemishes the quadruple silverplate creamer is in fine condition with only a small amount of silverplate loss on the applied handle. The hand-tooled bright cut work on the sides of this creamer are quite ornate. The hand tool marks are quite evident. Large lobes add interest to the design of this silverplate creamer.
The entire creamer has polished beautifully with a much desired satin silver-gray patina. The inside of the creamer is moderately discolored in the bottom, and some silverplate wear is noted along the inside rim. The Peerless quadruple silver plate creamer measures 3-3/4" high, 5" from handle tip to creamer spout, 4" diameter at the body, 3" diameter at the creamer top and weighs 7 ounces.
Touch marked on the base with PSCO, the Peerless Silver Plate Company Logo of an anchor, QUADRUPLE PLATE and the pattern number 400. You can learn more about Peerless Silver Plate Company here.
