This pretty floral light blue footed teacup and saucer set is by Royal Standard, England, in the beautiful pattern "Fascination", which features large light blue and pink rose florals against a white china background with gold trimmed scalloped edges. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other damage to note. (c. 1949)
The English china footed teacup features a large blue and pink rose floral motif with pale purple lilac highlights on the front, a smaller one on the back and one inside the teacup. Hand-painted gold trim along the foot, the scalloped lip and along the handle. A wide band of light blue is also on the foot. This delicate footed teacup measures 3" tall and 3-3/4" in diameter.
The matching gold trimmed round saucer also has two floral sprays - a large blue and pink rose on the bottom, a smaller one at the top. It measures 5-3/4" in diameter.
Both pieces are backstamped with "Fascination", Royal Standard, the Royal Standard crown logo, Bone China and Made in England. We believe this is pattern #2959.
