The antique quadruple silverplate teapot has an ornate tea spout, a decorative handle, decorative finial and hand-tooled decoration on the front. The bright-cut work on the frosted silver finish finish features scrolls and a modified leaf design. The teapot handle, spout and lid are finished in a high polished silver finish. The detailed hand-work is just gorgeous and is applied only to the front. The inside of this silver tea pot is finished in a matte finish, and is exceptionally clean. No dings, dents or dimples - no silverplate wear or loss noted. This Richfield silver plate teapot measures 7.75" tall, 8.75" between the tip of the spout and the end of the handle, is approximately 5.5" in diameter and weighs 15.8 ounces.
The matching antique quadruple silverplate covered sugar bowl with two handles contains the same design elements as the rest of this set, with the frosted finish, bright-cut floral design on the front, two applied handles and a ornate finial. The exterior finish of this sugar bowl is in a frosted finish silver finish, with a matte silver finish to the exceptionally clean interior. This antique silver plate sugar bowl measures 5.5" tall, 6" between the handles, is approximately 4" in diameter and weighs 8 ounces.
