Soft yellow with gold gilding and pastel pink and yellow roses adorn this fine vintage bone china teacup (tea cup) and saucer set by Thuny of Czechoslovakia.
The teacup features a wide soft yellow band along the top half of the teacup sprinkled with soft roses and gold gilding along the top edge and bottom of the yellow banding of the teacup and the outside edge of the handle. The inside is creamy bone china white.
This fine bone china teacup is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing. The teacup measures 2" tall, a bit over 3.5" in diameter, with the handle, it measures 4.5".
The matching saucer also has the soft buttery yellow banding with roses, gold gilding along the edge and and the banding edge, and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The saucer measures approximately 5.5" in diameter.
Both fine bone china pieces are marked on the bottoms in green ink stamp with THUNY, the Thuny trademark of a crown, and Czechoslovakia.
