This outstanding antique quadruple silverplate tea set has ornate repousse work on the handles and spouts, heavily-applied repousse trim along the top edges and decorative floral repousse knobs. Hand-tooled bright cut pansies, leaves and scrolls - each holloware tea set piece is monogrammed on one side with an ornate engraved script letter C.
The lovely antique quadruple silver plate tea pot (teapot) is in mint condition, with no dings, dents or silverplate wear or loss. The applied sturdy handle has both scrolls and feathing. The front of this antique silver teapot is engraved with the letter C, the back side has the identical design with no monogram in the cartouche area. Exceptionally clean on the inside. This antique quadruple silverplate teapot measures 7" tall to the top of the finial, 9" from the tip of the spout to the tip of the handle, measures approximately 5.25" in diameter and weighs 1 pound, 5.8 ounces.
The matching antique quadruple silverplate creamer is also in mint condition with no silverplate wear or loss noted, no dings, dents, scratches or other damage to note.
