Nice boxed gift set of Landers, Frary & Clark silver plate nut pick set, which includes 6 un-used silverplate nut picks (VERY sharp!) and the matching nut cracker in a leather presentation box.
The leather wrapped presentation box is in fair condition, with some leather dried, cracked and missing from the edges. The back spine is broken, and the satin lining is stained. The brass latch on the box is intact and works fine. Unusual to find a complete boxed set of antique silver picks.
Each antique silver plate nut pick measures 5" in length and weigh .5 ounces. These silver picks are in excellent condition, with no silverplate wear or loss noted. In fact, upon very close inspection, they seem to have never been used!
The matching silverplate mechanical nut cracker also seems to be un-used, however, there is a small amount of silverplate damage to one side of one of the handles as shown in the photo. The other side of this handle, together with the other handle, are in excellent condition. The silver plate nut cracker measures 5.5" in length and weighs 5.5 ounces. These antique silver picks could even be used as butter picks!
