Collectible silver-colored steel sewing thimble featuring the Liberty Bell, incised Capitol building of Philadelphia, PA, and incised written "THE SADLE OF LIBERTY" with stars on the top of this collectible thimble.
This vintage thimble (October 1990 as noted by a slip of paper inside the thimble) would be a wonderful addition to your sewing thimble collection, a collection of thimbles, a collection of historical memorabilia or even for a sewing collection.
There are age-related and use marks noted, but over all, the quality is very nice. The steel may have been silverplated on the thimble, as the silver coloring (in person) is much brighter and lighter than shown. May have been a souvenir.
This Liberty Bell collectible thimble measures 7/8" tall and 7/8" in diameter at the base.
