Antique silverplate punch ladle by ONEIDA COMMUNITY in the Vernon aka Ashley pattern (c. 1917). Never monogrammed.
This large silver plate punch or soup ladle, in the Vernon or Ashley pattern, is in very good condition for its age. There are some polishing scratches within the bowl and on the underside, together with one small spot of discoloration within the ladle bowl. A tiny rough patch is noted on the back of the handle. No heel wear or other silverplate wear or loss is noted.
Lovely aged patina to the silver. Still polishes up bright and shiny and will give the new owner many years of service.
This antique silver plate punch ladle measures 11.25" in length, the punch bowl measures 3.25" x 3", weighs 4.8 ounces. Touchmarked on the back of the punch ladle handle with ONEIDA COMMUNITY, PAR PLATE.
