Magnificent quadruple silverplate footed tazza or fruit bowl by Wilcox Silver Plate Co. featuring figural stag head handles, with a high silver polished interior and a satin finish applied under the bowl.
The interior of this silver plate tazza or fruit bowl has a high silver polish finish, as does the base, the figural stag head handles and the pedestal. The underside of the bowl is done in a satin finish.
There is no silverplate wear or loss noted to this tazza fruit bowl - in fact, it looks as if it may have never been used. No dings, dents or scratches. It has been recently restored, though, as evidenced by a very minor repair to the pedestal stand, but you'll have to really search for it.
This antique silver plate tazza or pedestal fruit bowl measures 10.25" between the stag head handles, 7" diameter bowl, stands 7.75" to the rim of the bowl, 7" to the top of the stag handles and weighs 1 pound, 6.9 ounces. Touchmarked on the base with WILCOX SILVER PLATE CO., the Wilcox logo of the crossed hammers, QUADRUPLE PLATE and the pattern number 1810.
