Victorian silver antique berry bowl by Barbour Silver Company in quadruple silverplate with the rim of the bowl and the handles in the shape of twigs with applied berries and leaves at both ends of the handles.
A most unusual piece of antique quadruple silverplate holloware, this berry bowl is in quite remarkable condition, with only a small amount of silver wear noted on the leaves/berries, and some silverplate wear (not silverplate loss) to the inside.
No dings, dents or damage noted. A few light rub marks to the outside of the berry bowl. The base is near pristine, and this bowl has the original quadruple silverplate - never re-silvered.
This antique silver berry bowl measures 9.5" (handle to handle, the bowl measures 7.5" x 7.75", stands 2.25" at the rim and weighs a hefty 1 pound, 11.2 ounces - almost 2 pounds of fine antique quadruple silverplate!
